		Our Mission Statement As a partner of The AIM Companies and distributor of their products, we have adopted their mission statement and are dedicated to its implementation.   Our mission is to improve the quality and productivity of people's lives by promoting the Healthy Cell Concept.   About Us HealthyCell is the online/web presence of a home-based business that started in 1992. Its name, HealthyCell, is derived from AIM's Healthy Cell Concept. Between my household and family, we use practically all of the products offered by The AIM Companies. My name is Elsie, and this is my story. Our Story My interest in "better health" started in the early 1990s and was fueled when my husband, Jerry, was diagnosed with hypertension. After seeing his health deteriorate, despite following his doctor's orders on his medication intake, I was convinced there was a better way for him live his life than taking the handful of pills he was prescribed, all of which required daily intake. The medications started with one prescription, then proceeded with another to counteract against side effects caused by the first pill, and so on and so forth. After a while, it seemed he needed to pop a pill, different ones, every few hours. This quest for "better health" simply began with reading -- health books, magazines, newsletters, anything I could get my hands on that pertained to health. I started to subscribe to newsletters from UC Berkeley; the Mayo Clinic; Harvard Health Online; Johns Hopkins publications, including Health After 50, Townsend Letters, to name a few. I also began reading about, listening to and reading publications by conventional doctors who changed their way of dealing with illness by adding nutrition; prevention; alternative, complimentary and integrated medicine to their medical practice. Some of these physicians include: Dr. Julian Whitaker - magazine, Health and Healing Dr. Jonathan Wright and Dr. Alan Gaby - Nutrition and Healing Dr. Earl Mendell - magazines, Joy of Life and Life Extension The AIM Companies and Their Products The November 1992 issue of Health and Healing featured AIM's green barley juice . The thousands of letters from grateful users, mentioned in the feature article, caught my attention. These were actual people who were helped and lives improved because of juicing whole food concentrates, manufactured by a company called The AIM Companies. There were testimonials of health being improved, and some even cured, of asthma, eczema, arthritis, constipation, gastritis, diabetes, high blood pressure, heart disease, hepatitis, forms of cancer and more. I showed the article to my husband, believing this product might benefit us as well. So, I called the company, became a member and joined AIM's Business Opportunity. Now over a decade later, my husband's health is well enough that he is no longer enslaved by all those hypertension pills. Pills that the was told he may take for the length of life. His improved health has changed the quality of our lives, for the better. My husband's routine checkup results are proof of his improved health. Continuing Studies in the Field of Nutrition For me, I have remained healthy and am eating healthier. I have since dedicated myself studying nutrition -- from birth/pregnancy to geriatrics. Since I have learned more about achieving health through natural means, I feel more empowered to keep myself and my husband healthy. In the course of my studies, I have gained some knowledge about prescription drugs -- their side effects, how to counteract/limit these side effects by taking nutritional supplements. I have since been astounded by incredible results of using essential oils to my daily routine, as preventative measures for the cold and flu season and as a general alternative homeopathic remedy for the most common and not so common ailments.
